When Popeyes debuted its inaugural chicken sandwich in 2019, it was nothing short of a national phenomenon. The launch’s great success put the entire QSR industry on notice and quickly led to Popeyes’ competitors introducing a chicken sandwich of their own. Popeyes is launching its new Blackened Chicken Sandwich, a breading-free option that still has all the flavor Popeyes fans know and love. And suppose we learned anything from years ago. In that case, their competitors are definitely going to want to copy them again, so we decided to help them.
